plantOS: A One-Stop, Data-Centric, and Comprehensive Solution for Oil & Gas O&M
ABOUT THE SESSION
Toru Yoneyama, Associate Fellow – Industrial DX and Head of Overseas Projects at Chiyoda Corporation, brings over 25 years of leadership experience in the global oil and gas sector. Since beginning his career in 1998, he has successfully led large-scale EPC projects worldwide and now spearheads Chiyoda’s digital transformation initiatives under the plantOS brand. Building on Chiyoda’s legacy as a neutral integrator, Toru focuses on bridging the gap between physical and digital plants by integrating process expertise, AI, IoT, and Digital Twin technologies. His mission is to empower operators with data-centric O&M strategies that drive greater reliability, efficiency, and sustainable performance.
At the Oil & Gas Digital Transformation Conference, Toru shares his insights in his session, “plantOS: A One-Stop, Data-Centric, and Comprehensive Solution for Oil & Gas O&M.” He will explore how Chiyoda’s neutral, vendor-independent approach enables operators to adopt best-in-class technologies while maintaining flexibility and long-term adaptability.
Toru will highlight how plantOS builds a unified digital framework to help operators achieve operational excellence by leveraging data-driven insights. Through real-world examples, he will demonstrate how plantOS has enhanced asset integrity, predictive maintenance, and overall plant reliability — bridging the physical and digital worlds to create smarter, more resilient operations.
